Site Reputation Abuse Risk Scanner

Sample pages across your site and compare each section against your own baseline. Surfaces the folders that read as third-party commercial content rather than your editorial, which is the pattern Google's site reputation abuse policy targets. Advisory, never a verdict.

We find pages via your sitemap, then sample up to 12 across different sections so we can compare them.

Frequently asked

What is site reputation abuse?

Publishing third-party content on your domain mainly to borrow your site's ranking strength. Google clarified in November 2024 that no amount of first-party involvement changes the third-party nature of a section, which is why the policy applies section by section rather than to a whole site.

Why does it score sections instead of the site?

Because that is how the problem occurs. A reputable publisher can be hit for a single coupon or casino subfolder while everything else is fine. A shop that is commercial from end to end is not committing site reputation abuse; a mostly-editorial domain with one commercial folder is the pattern to look at.

What signals does it look for?

Declared third-party bylines and labels (sponsored, partner content, brand studio, presented by), affiliate and sponsored outbound links, conversion-intent copy, and price comparison tables. It then compares each section's score against your own site's average.

Does a flag mean I will be penalised?

No. This cannot tell who produced a page or what the commercial arrangement was, and it says so in the results. It shows you which folders read like leased space so a human can confirm or dismiss it in one look.

How many pages does it check?

Up to 12, spread deliberately across different sections rather than taken in sitemap order, because a sample from one folder tells you nothing about divergence.
