The challenge

Daily coverage, no search history

Electric One publishes every weekday, but a new site has no rankings to build on. Pages were also missing the basics: descriptions, canonical tags and social tags, with some titles still showing template names.

Model, price and comparison searches drove the traffic

The pages that earned clicks answer specific questions from people researching an EV, not broad EV terms.

Why it worked

Three decisions that made the difference

Fixes came first

All 157 fixes landed in the first two weeks, before most articles had entered search.

Topics buyers search

Model launches, prices and comparisons match how people research an EV.

Publishing every weekday

Steady output took the site from 4 pages in search to 157 in a single week.

What comes next

Where the next gains will come from

Turn impressions into clicks

The Tesla flying roadster page holds 30% of all impressions but earns a 0.2% click-through rate. A sharper title and description could change that.

Merge the BMW i7 pages

Two Ranveer Singh BMW i7 articles compete for the same search, with 1,168 impressions between them. One stronger page should rank higher than both.

Clear the fix queue

106 more fixes to descriptions, canonicals and social tags are ready to apply.

Electric One

Electric One now reaches EV buyers while they research a model, a price or a comparison, with its leading pages averaging a first-page position.
