Affiliate Programme Terms

Last updated: 10 August 2026

These terms govern your participation in the Creative Nexus affiliate programme for RankNexus (the “Programme”). By applying to the Programme, and by continuing to use a referral link or partner code we issue you, you agree to them. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which also apply to you as a user of the Service.

1. What this is, and what it is not

The Programme lets you earn commission on customers you introduce to RankNexus. You act as an independent contractor. Nothing here creates an employment, agency, partnership, joint-venture or franchise relationship, and you may not hold yourself out as an employee, agent or official representative of Creative Nexus, or enter into any obligation on our behalf.

The Programme is separate from our agency and reseller arrangements. Clients you serve under a white-label or reseller agreement are not eligible for affiliate commission, because that revenue is already priced with your margin in it.

2. Eligibility and approval

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into a contract. Applications are reviewed manually. We may approve or decline any application at our discretion and without giving reasons, and we may close an account later under section 16. Employees and contractors of Creative Nexus are not eligible.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us, including your payout and tax details. We cannot pay a commission we have no valid way to send.

3. How referrals are tracked

On approval you receive a referral link and a partner code. Both work; they are tracked differently.

  • Your referral link (ranknexus.ai/r/yourcode) records the click and, if the visitor allows functional cookies, stores your code in their browser for 90 days.
  • Your partner code can be typed by the customer at checkout. It needs no cookie at all and works for anyone, including a visitor who declines cookies.

Because our cookie banner asks before anything is stored, a visitor who declines functional cookies, or who leaves the landing page before answering the banner, may not be tracked by the link. This is a deliberate privacy choice and not a fault. Your partner code is the reliable path, and we recommend giving it alongside your link every time. Clicks are recorded for your dashboard whether or not a cookie is stored, but a recorded click on its own does not create a referral and does not earn commission.

4. Which affiliate a customer is credited to

Where more than one affiliate could claim the same customer, we apply the following order, highest first, and we apply it consistently:

  • a partner code the customer entered at checkout;
  • the code recorded on the subscription when it was created;
  • the referral cookie stored in the customer’s browser, most recent click wins.

A code typed at checkout therefore beats a cookie, including a cookie from a different affiliate. A code entered at the moment of purchase is explicit intent; a cookie is passive and may be weeks old.

Attribution is resolved once, at the customer’s first eligible payment, and is then fixed for the life of that subscription. Later clicks, later codes and later sessions do not move a customer who has already been credited. A customer can be referred once, and only once.

5. Who counts as a new customer

Commission is for introducing customers we did not already have. Accordingly:

  • an account that already existed before your click is not a referral, even if the account holder clicks your link;
  • a customer who had already paid us before entering your code is flagged and held for manual review, and commission is not payable if we conclude the customer was already ours;
  • you may not refer yourself. This includes any additional account you control, and accounts held by your immediate family, your employer, or a business you own or control. Self-referrals earn nothing and are grounds for removal from the Programme.

6. What earns commission

You earn when a customer you referred pays. Clicks, free signups and trials do not generate commission on their own. Once a referred customer makes an eligible payment, you earn the applicable rate on that payment, net of tax and discounts.

“Net of tax and discounts” means commission is calculated on eligible revenue: the amount actually captured, less any tax included in it, less any discount, coupon or credit applied. Prices charged in Indian rupees are inclusive of 18% GST, so the GST element is removed before commission is calculated; sales in US dollars are zero-rated exports and carry no such deduction. Commission is denominated in the currency the customer paid in.

The commission rate and duration for this Programme have not yet been set, and no commission is currently payable. We will publish them here and in your affiliate dashboard before the Programme opens. Referrals recorded before a rate is published earn nothing unless we say otherwise in writing.

7. Search and advertising conduct

You may write about RankNexus freely, including reviews, comparisons and “best tool” round-ups, and you may rank for whatever those pages rank for. That is what this Programme is for and we do not restrict it.

You may not:

  • bid in paid search on “RankNexus”, “Creative Nexus”, misspellings of either, or our brand plus a modifier such as coupon, discount, review, pricing, alternative or login;
  • point a paid advertisement directly at ranknexus.ai — send traffic to your own page first;
  • register or use a domain or subdomain containing our brand;
  • publish a page a reasonable visitor would take for an official RankNexus page, or otherwise imply that you speak for us.

You must disclose your affiliate relationship wherever you promote us, as required by the FTC Endorsement Guides, the ASCI influencer guidelines in India, and equivalent rules elsewhere. A clear, visible disclosure near the link is the standard.

8. Other prohibited conduct

  • No coupon or deal sites, and no auto-apply coupon browser extensions. These intercept customers who were already buying and claim credit for a sale they did not create.
  • No cookie stuffing — no setting the referral cookie without a genuine, intentional click, whether by iframe, redirect, pop-under, script or any similar method.
  • No paying, incentivising or otherwise inducing people to click your link or use your code without a genuine interest in the product.
  • No unsolicited email, SMS or messaging, and no posting your link where you have been asked not to.
  • No misrepresenting what the Service does, and no invented or unverifiable claims about results, rankings, traffic or earnings.
  • No use of our name, logo or screenshots beyond the assets and permissions we give you, and no modification of those assets.
  • No offering a rebate, cashback or discount funded from your commission unless we have agreed to it in writing.

9. Hold period, refunds and chargebacks

Commission accrues as pending when a referred customer pays, and becomes payable 30 days later. The hold exists because a payment can still be refunded or charged back after we receive it.

  • A refund or chargeback within the hold period reverses the commission. Reversal is proportional: refunding a quarter of a payment claws back a quarter of the commission, not all of it.
  • A refund after the commission has become payable is recorded as a negative adjustment and set against your next payout. If you have no further balance, we may ask you to repay it, and we may set it against any future commission instead.
  • If a referred customer cancels, commission simply stops with their last payment. There is no clawback of commission already earned on payments they made and kept.
  • A commission may be held past the end of the hold period while a fraud or eligibility signal is under manual review. We aim to resolve reviews promptly, and a review that finds nothing releases the commission in full.

10. Payouts

Payouts run once a month over everything that has become payable. The minimum payout is ₹1,000 for payouts in rupees, $50 for payouts in US dollars.

A balance below the minimum is carried forward, not forfeited. It sits in your account and is included in the first run where your balance clears the threshold. Your dashboard shows both the balance and how far you are from the next payout.

We pay by bank transfer to the account you give us. You are responsible for the accuracy of those details and for any fees your bank or an intermediary bank deducts. Where a payout fails because of details you supplied, we will retry on the next run once you have corrected them.

11. Tax

You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn, including registering for and charging any tax that applies to your services.

Where the law requires us to withhold tax, we withhold it from the payout, not from the commission you earned — your statement always shows gross, withheld and net separately. For affiliates resident in India, commission is subject to TDS on commission and brokerage: 2% where you have given us a valid PAN, and 20% where you have not, once your commission for the Indian financial year exceeds ₹20,000. Give us your PAN before your first payout and you will be withheld at the lower rate.

For affiliates outside India we do not withhold Indian tax by default. That reflects the ordinary position for services performed wholly outside India, and it is not tax advice to you. We may ask for a tax residency certificate, a W-8BEN or equivalent documentation, and we may withhold where the law or your circumstances require it.

12. Fraud and review

We monitor for patterns that suggest commission is being manufactured rather than earned. Where something looks wrong, the commission is held and reviewed by a person before it is paid — we do not reject automatically, because an automated rule that wrongly refuses a legitimate affiliate is worse than a delay.

We may withhold, reverse or void commission, and suspend or close your account, where we reasonably conclude that it was obtained in breach of these terms, through misrepresentation, or through activity designed to create the appearance of a referral. We will tell you the reason and give you a fair chance to respond.

13. Changes to the Programme

We may change the commission rate, duration, cookie window, hold period, minimums and other Programme parameters. Changes are not retroactive. Each referral records the terms in force when it converted and continues to earn under those terms; a change applies to referrals that convert after it takes effect.

We will give notice of material changes by email to the address on your affiliate account, and the current parameters are always shown on this page and in your dashboard. Continuing in the Programme after a change takes effect is acceptance of it.

14. Your content and our brand

You keep ownership of the content you publish. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to reproduce your name, handle and public promotional content for the purpose of running and describing the Programme.

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the name and logo we provide, solely to promote RankNexus and only in the form supplied. The licence ends when your participation ends, and you must then stop using our brand assets and remove or clearly deactivate your referral links.

15. Privacy

Running the Programme involves processing personal data: your account and payout details, and limited data about visitors who arrive through your link. We do not give you personal data about the customers you refer. Your dashboard shows counts, conversions and commission, never a referred customer’s identity or contact details. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, and the referral cookie is listed in our Cookie Policy.

16. Term and termination

Either of us may end your participation at any time, for any reason, on notice. You can leave by emailing us.

If your participation ends and you have not breached these terms, commission already earned is paid on the normal schedule, subject to the minimum payout and the hold period, and commission stops accruing on future payments by customers you referred. If we end your participation for a breach of these terms or for fraud, unpaid commission connected to that breach may be withheld or voided.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive it.

17. Disclaimers and liability

The Programme is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee any level of traffic, conversion or earnings, and nothing in our materials is a projection of what you will make. Tracking depends on browsers, cookie settings and networks we do not control, and we do not warrant that every referral will be recorded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the Programme is limited to the commission properly payable to you in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill.

18. General

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gurugram, Haryana, unless applicable law requires otherwise. You may not assign your participation without our consent. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest continues in force. These terms, together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the Programme.

19. Contact
