Set up page-agent for form outreach

Install the free page-agent browser extension so the Guest-Post Kit and directory kits can fill submission forms for you to review.

5 min read Intermediate

Some backlink and guest-post targets take a web form, not an email. The Guest-Post Kit and each directory Submission kit hand you a plain-language command for page-agent, a free open-source browser extension from Alibaba (MIT licensed). page-agent reads the page and fills the form for you, using your own browser and your own logins, and stops before the final submit so you review and click Submit yourself.

page-agent runs in your browser with an AI model key you provide. RankNexus never sees your site passwords or the model key, and the command always tells the agent to stop before submitting.

1. Install the extension

  1. 1Install page-agent-ext from the Chrome Web Store, then pin it so its icon sits in your toolbar.
  2. 2Open any web page and click the page-agent icon to open its side panel. This is where you paste the command and watch it work.

2. Point it at an AI model

  1. 1Open the extension's settings from the side panel.
  2. 2Set the model, the API base URL, and your API key. page-agent works with most mainstream LLMs and with locally hosted models, so you can use whatever key you already have.
  3. 3Save. A small, fast model is fine here: the task is filling a form, not writing, and the article text comes from RankNexus.

3. Use it with RankNexus

  1. 1Guest post: on Backlinks, generate the Guest-Post Kit for a target. Copy its page-agent command, open the target site, open the page-agent side panel, paste the command, and paste the article when it asks.
  2. 2Directory: expand a directory prospect on Backlinks and copy its Submission kit command, then do the same on the directory's submit page.
  3. 3Review the filled form, click Submit yourself, then set the prospect's status to submitted so future runs stop resurfacing it.

White-hat only. Never work around a captcha, sign-up wall, or paywall; if one blocks the form, skip that site. No auto-submitting, no mass posting: a human reviews and submits every form.

Common questions

Does RankNexus get my passwords or model key?

No. page-agent runs in your own browser and uses logins you are already signed into, plus a model key you enter into the extension. None of that reaches RankNexus.

Which AI model should I use?

Any mainstream LLM the extension supports, or a locally hosted model. The form-filling task is light, so a small fast model keeps it cheap.

Is this allowed?

Yes, when used white-hat: your own or invited submission forms, a human reviewing and submitting each one, and no bot-protection bypass. The commands are written to stop before submit for exactly this reason.
