Analytics adds behaviour and conversions to the search data from Search Console: what visitors do once they arrive, and which visits come from AI assistants.
- 1Open Settings → Connections → Connect data source, or Onboarding's “Connect your search data” step.
- 2Click Connect Analytics on the Google Analytics GA4 card. It is a separate sign-in from Search Console, so connecting one does nothing for the other.
- 3Choose the Google account that owns the GA4 property; the two cards can use different accounts.
- 4We find the property whose web stream matches your domain. If none matches, the card says so: disconnect and connect the account that owns it.
Keyword volumes and difficulty come built in, so there is no keyword API key to add. Access tokens are stored server-side, per site, and are never sent to your browser.
